After living in New York, I returned to Atlanta a couple of years ago and found there had been a shift in the gay lifestyle. I went to the club and saw what had previously been frowned upon, considered lesbianism amongst the gay men. A club full of Fem boys lovin’ and grinding on other fem boys. Now let me be clear when I say I hate and don’t condone stereotypes but it is what it is. Apparently I had missed the Gay meeting when we decided we where now doing this. Once upon a time you visually could tell for the most part who got fucked and who did the fucking . These days, as if I didn’t already have enough pressure I also now have to figure out a guys position preference.
True story: I met a guy at the club and exchanged numbers. We talked via phone for about 2 weeks. Hung out on 2 or 3 occasions. We had so many things in common we never discussed the actual specifics of what we did sexually but I thought it was rather clear. One night in a drunken stupor we both knew we were ready to take things to the next level. He sucked my dick like his life depended on it. I licked him from head to toe and ate his ass until I burped. I rolled him over, threw his legs in the air and got ready to give him the dick of his life. That was until he flipped me over and pushed my legs up in the air. In the midst of passion I figured this was some pseudo form of foreplay. They say either you change with the times or get left behind. So to ensure that I’m not left behind I am unenthusiastically adjusting. I’m making myself accept that Tops now wear skinny jeans, tight v-neck t-shirts, studded belts, and have their ass out showing designer or cartoon underwear. I open my mind and accept that Tops also now Vogue Fem, use gay lingo in high pitch voices and call each other “Girl”. I am even reluctantly accepting that Tops also do the Beyonce “Single Ladies” routine at the club. I am accepting, but my heart isn’t in it. I miss a much simpler time (sighs)

I don't think it's a matter of the times changing around what does or doesnt make you a top so much as its a sign of what is and isnt in. Even the old school tops who wore baggy jeans and "thug drag" did so in the hopes that it would better their chances at their nightly conquest. Since the days of 8X T-shirts has become unpoplar in the world of fashion (inside the perimeter) then Tops no longer see it as necessary to get up in "thug drag" to score some ass. I can honestly say that this particular topic is one that is near and dar to my hear. How I miss the good ole days when. Could distinguish the difference between male persona's. Now it is so hard to tell who does who and who gets done that I feel like I am starring at a box or whitmans chocolates when it comes to pursueing my seual prey.
